Permission to use Drummond Park for Functions:
Written permission to use Drummond park for functions must be obtained from Council prior to use. If tents are to be pitched, advance notice is required for a site has to be marked out by park staff to ensure irrigation lines remain intact.

Bathurst Street Reserve

Dalton Park Horse Sports Complex
The reserve is dedicated as a racecourse and is located between the Bourke and Louth Roads, Cobar. It is accessed from Louth Road.
This reserve is utilised for the annual Race Club meeting and as a sporting complex. The Dalton Park Race Club and Council maintain the following infrastructure:

The Newey Reservoir
Located at the end of Knight Road from Belagoy and Tindera Streets, Cobar.
The Newey Reservoir was designed as a recreational area. There is 2 stainless steel barbeques and 3 stainless steel sitting tables. Council maintains the following infrastructure:

The Old Reservoir
Commonly known as the “Old Res”, it was built in 1885 as a water storage area for Cobar residents.
Nowadays it is used for recreational purposes.
It is a great area for families, jogging, and for walking dogs.
