Quality care in a home environment
Far West Day Care offers highly personalised, flexible, quality care for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. They are nurtured in a small group setting and, through the educators’ individualised programming, are encouraged to further develop their skills and knowledge.
Family Day Care Services offer very flexible hours, and provide children with the comfort of a nurturing, home environment.
Far West Family Day Care engages trained and registered educators who provide care for other people’s children in their own homes. Educators have been carefully selected, supervised and operate under the Education and Care Services National Regulations and receive regular compliance checks. This is designed to ensure that your child receives the best possible care as well as ensuring quality and continuous improvement of the Family Day Care educators.
You may not know that Family Day Care also offers access to holiday care, before and after school care, after hours and even overnight care.

What is In Home Care?
In Home Care is a flexible and affordable form of quality child care that takes place in your own home, provided by a registered educator, for children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. In Home Care is for families that can’t access other forms of child care, such as centre-based care or family day care due to geographical isolation, non-standard working hours and complex needs.
In Home Care allows you to select your own individual educator that meets the needs of your own family. In Home Care is much more than ‘just babysitting’, educators are required to offer your children opportunities to learn, develop and grow through quality play-based learning.
How to Access In Home Care
Families need to contact Far West In Home Care. We will provide you with all the relevant information on getting started with our service and how to contact NSW In Home Care Support Agency, who assess your eligibility and develop a family management plan with you.
